MY NEW JOURNEY
India, a city full of vibrant colors.
The city is filled with floral motifs, and the scents and colors bring back memories.
This is my first landing in INDIA.

This is my first landing in INDIA.

It's fascinating to see their unique way of life—traffic rules, work schedules, meal times, tea time... everything moves at an Indian pace. I’m amazed at everything I see, and I keep asking myself if this is really India.
When I met the local staff I would be working with, I was deeply moved to realize that these were the people who would bring our designs to life. I felt both grateful and humbled.
At the same time, it was heartbreaking to see so many people striving to make a living, gathering each day in search of work.

The scenery, atmosphere, people, and architectural styles of South and North India are all subtly different. Even though they are both part of the same country, the language and writing systems differ. That’s why the language spoken by workers is English with a local touch. This country, which is 8.7 times the size of Japan, carries a strong historical influence. Traveling across it truly makes you feel the vastness of the world.
I visited South India to learn about herbal medicine, and found it to be a place that soothes my weary soul—with its lush greenery, clear air, and beautiful blue sky.
I was deeply moved and fascinated by this world I was discovering for the first time. I was filled with joy and happiness at being able to use such a wonderful dyeing method.
